The Election Commission of India (ECI) has launched the Suvidha Candidate App, a mobile application aimed at streamlining the nomination and permission process for candidates during election periods. Available exclusively on the Android platform, this app offers candidates a user-friendly interface to navigate through various stages of the election procedure.
To utilise the Suvidha Candidate App, candidates are required to create an account and log in using their credentials. Once logged in, they gain access to a range of features tailored to simplify their campaign management. These features include:
1. Viewing Permissions List: Candidates can peruse the list of permissions necessary for conducting their campaigns.
2. Tracking Permission Status: The app enables candidates to monitor the status of their permission applications in real-time.
3. Online Submission of Permission Forms: Candidates can conveniently download permission forms and submit them electronically through the app.
4. Nomination Status Tracking: The app provides a mechanism for candidates to track the status of their filed nomination.
Moreover, utilising the Suvidha Candidate App offers several advantages:
