Sri Vijaya Puram: With the onset of the summer season and the consequent decline in water levels, the Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council has cautioned that certain areas may experience fluctuations or temporary disruptions in water supply in the coming weeks.
In a public advisory, the Council stated that it is making every possible effort to ensure equitable distribution and uninterrupted supply of water to all residents during this period. Officials assured that necessary measures are being taken to manage the situation effectively and minimise inconvenience to the public.
The Municipal Council has appealed to residents to promptly report any water supply-related issues in their respective areas. Authorities have assured that all complaints will be attended to on priority and appropriate action will be taken at the earliest.
Citizens can report concerns to the Municipal Council’s Control Room at 03192-231179, which is functioning round-the-clock from the Municipal Headquarters to receive complaints and provide assistance.
Residents have also been urged to immediately inform the Control Room if any pipeline leakage is noticed in their locality. Timely reporting, the Council said, will help prevent wastage of precious water resources and enable swift rectification.
Reiterating its commitment to public service, the Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council sought cooperation and support from residents to ensure the smooth functioning of the water supply system during the summer months.
