Swaraj Dweep Police Cracks Blind Attempt to Murder Case: Accused Apprehended, Victim’s Stolen Property Recovered

In a testament to their unwavering commitment and meticulous investigation skills, the Swaraj Dweep Police have successfully unraveled the mystery behind a harrowing attempted murder reported on September 14, 2023. Swift action and collaborative efforts led by Inspector N. Zainuddin, SHO PS Swaraj Dweep, culminated in the identification and arrest of the perpetrator.

The incident, wherein an assailant attacked a resident within their own home, shrouded in mystery initially, spurred an intensive investigation under section 307 IPC. The police swiftly assembled a dedicated team armed with sophisticated investigative techniques, leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of truth. Tireless interrogations and a comprehensive probe eventually led to a breakthrough in the case.

On December 14, 2023, the Swaraj Dweep Police made a significant breakthrough, apprehending the accused, Dibesh Kumar Sikdar, a private driver residing at Billiground. Sikdar, who had been living in a rented house with the victim at Govindnagar-2, Swaraj Dweep, confessed to the crime during interrogation. Notably, the victim’s stolen gold chain was recovered from Sikdar’s residence at Billiground, which was concealed.

Dibesh Kumar Sikdar now remains in Judicial Custody as legal proceedings unfold. The successful resolution of this case stands as a testament to the dedication and effectiveness of the Swaraj Dweep Police force in safeguarding the community.
