Swift Action by Mayabunder Police Saves a Life, Earns Community Praise

In a remarkable display of promptness and dedication, the Mayabunder Police successfully saved a life, earning widespread appreciation from the local community. A distress call  reported an emergency involving Albinus Kujur, a resident of Panighat, who was found in a critical condition.

Responding swiftly, a team from the Mayabunder Police Station—led by Sub-Inspector Dinesh Meena, Probationary Sub-Inspector Dinesh Jaiswal, Head Constable John Crysestom, and Constable M. Nasir—rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, they found Kujur unconscious and immediately administered CPR, managing to stabilise him. Understanding the urgency, the officers transported him to the District Hospital in Mayabunder in their own vehicle, bypassing delays that might have cost him his life.

Medical Staff later confirmed that the timely administration of CPR and rapid transport to the hospital were crucial in saving Kujur’s life. The villagers of Mayabunder have since showered praise on the police team for their heroic efforts, expressing deep gratitude for their life-saving intervention.

This incident highlights not only the importance of emergency preparedness but also the unwavering commitment of the Mayabunder Police to the safety and well-being of their community. Their prompt action and professional approach turned a potentially tragic situation into a story of hope and survival.
