Swift Police Action Leads to Arrest and Recovery in Mayabunder Temple Theft Case

In a swift and decisive response, the Mayabunder police successfully apprehended the suspect in a theft case at the Mayabunder Kali Temple and recovered the stolen items. The theft was reported to the Mayabunder Police Station, prompting immediate action from the authorities.

A special team led by Inspector P.K. Abdul Arif, Station House Officer (SHO) of PS Mayabunder, and including Head Constable N.K.K. Kerketta as the Investigating Officer, was formed to track down the offender. Through meticulous site inspections and careful analysis of CCTV footage, the team identified Nayan Bar as the prime suspect.

Acting promptly, the team devised a strategic plan and successfully apprehended Nayan Bar. During a thorough interrogation, he confessed to his involvement in the temple theft. The diligent efforts of the police team resulted in the recovery of the stolen amount from Nayan Bar’s possession.

The police have commended the community for their cooperation and emphasised the importance of swift action and collaboration in ensuring justice. The recovered items and evidence will play a crucial role in the legal proceedings against the accused.
