The Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has announced that all ration card-related services will remain temporarily unavailable from 19th to 24th July 2025 due to the ongoing migration of the existing ePDS application to the upgraded SMART PDS 2.0 system.
This move is aimed at ensuring a smoother and more efficient delivery of services to Public Distribution System (PDS) beneficiaries across the islands. Officials have urged beneficiaries to take note of the service suspension period and plan accordingly, as data migration is a crucial step in the transition to the new application.
