A complaint of theft was lodged by Station Officer, Police Radio Station, Mayabunder regarding theft of 01 No. Battery & 01 No. Inverter from the Repeater Station situated at Bathews Point, Rest Camp.
A case of theft was registered at PS Mayabunder vide FIR No. 19/2023 dtd. 15/04/2023 U/s 457/380 IPC.
A special team was constituted to work out the case. The team was headed by Inspr. P K Abdul Arif, SHO PS Mayabunder. During investigation one suspect R/o Profullya Nagar, Billiground was thoroughly interrogated and he confessed his involvement in the crime alongwith another person.
The team recovered all the stolen properties from the accused. The hard work of the Police team of PS Mayabunder, under the close supervision of the senior officers, led to crack down in the theft case. The stolen property was also recovered within short time after the registration of FIR.

Police informed that the identity of the informers will be kept secret and they will also be suitably rewarded.
