The three day long tourism roadshow organized by Andaman Association of Tour Operators in association with Ministry of Tourism concluded with a grand function at Hotel Peerless Resort on 18th March 2023.
The roadshow was inaugurated by Mr. Keshav Chandra , IAS, Chief Secretary , A & N Administration on 16th March 2023 at hotel TSG Emerald. 30 reputed tour operators, social media influencers, bloggers and photographers from all over the country participated in the roadshow.
The participants visited various tourist spots in Port Blair and Swaraj Dweep. They also visited hotels and resorts in these islands during their three day stay.
During the concluding function , Mr. K. Hamza, General Secretary, AATO welcomed the delegates. Mr. M. Vinod, President AATO addressed the delegates and briefed them about the activities of AATO. Mr. Saikat Biswas, Joint Secretary of the Association presented a presentation on A&N Islands. Mr. Mohammed Jadwet also addressed the delegates. All delegates were presented with mementos by AATO and souvenirs by Symphony Resorts.
Mr. Vinod said, ‘This roadshow was first of its kind in the Islands and such events will promote Andamans globally and showcase the pristine beauty of the islands to the world.’
Mr. Vinod has expressed his gratitude towards the Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India, India Tourism, Kolkata, A & N Administration and all tourism stakeholders who supported the event and made it possible.
The programme concluded with Vote of thanks by Mr. Ramakrishna, Assistant Director, India Tourism.
