The three-day workshop on Holistic Progress Card (HPC) implementation and dissemination of PARAKH Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024-2025 results concluded on 12th September 2025, marking an important step in advancing assessment reforms under the National Education Policy (NEP).
The workshop was jointly organized by PARAKH, NCERT New Delhi, and the State Institute of Education (SIE), Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Faculty members from NCERT, along with PARAKH master trainers from SIE, conducted intensive training sessions that focused on practical strategies for implementing the Holistic Progress Card across Foundational, Preparatory, and Middle stages. Participants also received guidance on decoding and utilizing PRS results.
A total of 100 teachers from across all educational zones of the Islands took part in the training, with 50 attending in person and 50 joining virtually. The sessions were designed to enhance teacher capacity and institutional readiness for effective implementation of HPC initiatives.
The Holistic Progress Card, aligned with the vision of NEP, has already been introduced across all grades from Balvatika to Class 12 in the Islands. Hard copies of the card have been supplied to schools, and the training sought to strengthen its effective use in classrooms to ensure comprehensive and meaningful assessment of students.
