Three Islanders Receive National Atal Award from Atal Foundation in New Delhi

Atal Foundation, a leading organization dedicated to social change and community empowerment, hosted its 4th National Atal Awards Ceremony at the Pradhanmantri Sanghralaya in New Delhi. The event celebrated individuals and organisations for their remarkable contributions to social service and community development.

The evening shone a spotlight on the tireless efforts of those committed to making a positive impact in various fields, including education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and social justice. Among the honourees were three distinguished individuals from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands: Dr. Shajee Varghese, Dr. Pranob Kumar Sircar, and Mr. Ebrahim Jadwet, who were each awarded the prestigious National Atal Award for their outstanding achievements.

The ceremony was attended by prominent figures including Mrs. Aparna Singh, National President of the Atal Foundation; Mr. Avinash Rai Khanna, National Vice President of BJP; Dr. Shyam Jaju, Senior BJP Leader; Mr. M. Vinod, National Vice President of the Atal Foundation; Mr. Azizur Rehman, State President of the Atal Foundation; Mr. Sandeep Lall, National President of Atal Sanskar Shala; and Mrs. Protima Banerjee, National Secretary of Creative Atal Sanskar Shala.

The awards ceremony was a testament to the dedication and hard work of these individuals, highlighting their significant roles in advancing social causes and enhancing community well-being.
