Tourism Department to Host ‘Cuisines of India Festival–2025’ on June 28–29 at ITF Pavilion

The Department of Tourism, Andaman & Nicobar Administration is gearing up to organize the ‘Cuisines of India Festival–2025’ on the 28th and 29th of June at the ITF Pavilion, Sri Vijaya Puram. As part of its ongoing series of events, fairs, and festivals aimed at celebrating India’s cultural richness, the festival will run from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on both days under the theme ‘#DesiDelights’.

The event is being organized in collaboration with the Food Safety Department of the District Administration, South Andaman, and aims to highlight the diversity and flavour of Indian cuisine. In view of the upcoming festival, the Tourism Department has invited applications from interested hoteliers, firms, and individuals for the allotment of food and general stalls at the venue.

Stalls will be allotted through a transparent lottery system, adhering to the terms and conditions specified in the application form. The rental for food stalls (Stall No. 01 to 12) has been fixed at ₹4500 for two days, while general stalls will be available for ₹3500. Kiosks will be offered at a nominal fee of ₹450 per stall. A refundable security deposit is also applicable—₹6000 for food vendors, ₹5000 for general stallholders, and ₹250 for kiosks. Applicants are required to submit the fees via Demand Draft in favour of the Senior Accounts Officer, Directorate of IP&T.

Application forms along with the terms and conditions can be collected and submitted at the Operational Section of the Directorate of IP&T, Sri Vijaya Puram. The last date for submission of application forms is 23rd June 2025 by 3:00 PM. The allotment of stalls by the committee and issuance of allotment letters will be done on 24th June 2025.
