Mr. K Selvam, President, Tourist Vehicle Owners Association, Andaman and Nicobar Islands has requested the Airport Pre-Paid Committee to convene a meeting to discuss the restarting of the Pre-Paid Taxi Service at Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair.
Mr. Selvam has informed the authorities that the Airport Prepaid Taxi Service has been stopped suddenly from the last three days, without prior intimation to the Pre-Paid Taxi Operators/drivers.
He informed that the move of stopping the Pre-Paid Taxi Service at Port Blair Airport has adversely affected the drivers.
He also added that the families of the drivers will also suffer because of the sudden decision to stop the Pre-Paid Taxi Service at Port Blair Airport.
He has requested the Airport Pre-Paid Committee to convene a meeting on an urgent basis to discuss the possibility of restarting the Pre-Paid Taxi Service at Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair.
