In view of the Island Tourism Festival (ITF), the District Magistrate, South Andaman District, has issued a notification regulating traffic movement and parking arrangements in certain areas of Sri Vijaya Puram.

Exercising powers under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, read with the relevant Administration notification, the District Magistrate has declared the stretch of road from Hayat Singh Junction to RBV Junction as a one-way route during the festival period. Parking for four-wheelers has been arranged inside the Airport premises, at the rear side of the ITF ground, on the left side from Gurumandir Junction towards ITF, on the right side from Hayat Singh Junction to Old CCS Junction, Junglighat, and at the Zilla Parishad Office.

Parking spaces for two-wheelers have been earmarked in front of the RCS and Education Office, on the right side from Gurumandir Junction towards ITF, and on the left side from Hayat Singh Junction to Old CCS Junction, Junglighat.

The general public has been requested to adhere to the traffic regulations and make use of the designated parking facilities to ensure smooth conduct of the Island Tourism Festival.
