Tragic Road Accident Claims Two Lives at Great Nicobar Island

A devastating road accident at Great Nicobar Island today resulted in the loss of two lives. Mrs. Paramjeet Kaur, a dedicated Physical Education Teacher at Government Senior Secondary School, Campbell Bay, and Miss Tanisha, a fourth-grade student at Coast Guard Public School, Campbell Bay, were involved in the unfortunate incident while traveling together on a scooter. The accident occurred between Campbell Bay and Joginder Nagar on the North-South Road.

According to sources familiar with the matter, both Mrs. Paramjeet Kaur and Miss Tanisha were swiftly rushed to the PHC Campbell Bay for medical attention. Despite efforts to save them, Mrs. Paramjeet Kaur was pronounced dead upon arrival, while Miss Tanisha tragically succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

The news of the accident and the untimely demise of these two individuals has left the residents of Great Nicobar in profound shock.
