As the General Election-2024 draws near, essential training sessions for Micro Observers (MOs) and Booth Level Officials (BLOs) were conducted to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the electoral process. The training sessions were held on 2nd April 2024, with Micro Observers gathering at the conference hall of DBRAIT, followed by the Booth Level Officials convening in the auditorium of the same institution.

Micro Observers, tasked with a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of the election process, underwent comprehensive training sessions aimed at equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge. Dr. A Abraham, leading the training initiative, emphasized the significance of the MOs’ role in ensuring an impartial and transparent election. Through a dynamic presentation, he elucidated the various responsibilities entrusted to Micro Observers, including monitoring and evaluating the readiness of polling stations assigned to them.

Meanwhile, in a parallel session held earlier in the day, Booth Level Officials received training crucial for their role in facilitating the electoral process. Led by Mr. Amar Kumar Singh, the training session delved into essential topics such as the importance of the electoral roll, the structure of the E-Roll, and the BLO Register & Check List. Through informative presentations, BLOs were equipped with the necessary tools to effectively carry out their duties and contribute to the seamless functioning of the electoral machinery.
