A one-day training programme focusing on “The Role of Gram Panchayats in Ensuring and Preventing Diseases and Awareness on Mental & Physical Health (Theme-2)” was held on 23rd October 2025 at the Administrative Building, Diglipur, under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan (RGSA).
The programme aimed to enhance the capacity of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) in promoting community health, hygiene, and disease prevention at the grassroots level.
The training saw active participation from Gram Panchayat Pradhans, Panchayat Secretaries, Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs), Anganwadi Workers, members of GP Health and Sanitation Committees, and FNHW Gender CRPs representing various Gram Panchayats under the Diglipur Block.
Resource persons from different departments addressed the participants, providing valuable insights on preventive healthcare measures, mental well-being, sanitation practices, and the pivotal role of Panchayats in fostering healthy and resilient rural communities.
