Training Programme on PAHAL Plus Held in Diglipur

A one-day training programme on PAHAL Plus was recently organized by the Office of the Deputy Education Officer (DEO), Diglipur, in collaboration with the State Institute of Education (SIE), Shiksha Sadan, Sri Vijayapuram. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the PAHAL Plus Portal, which has been recognized for its best practices in creating unique tools to assess and monitor student learning outcomes.

The training, attended by educators from across the Diglipur Educational Zone, emphasized the importance of continuous monitoring and intervention to ensure students’ progress. Ms. Sulochna, DEO of Diglipur, who served as the chief guest, highlighted the significance of the PAHAL Plus initiative. She urged all participants to extend their full support to the help desk, which is dedicated to improving the overall learning environment for students.

Key speakers included Mr. R. Sethukarai, Vice Principal, SIE, along with faculty members Ms. Bindu Suresh and Ms. Geeta Devi. They collectively stressed the need for regular assessment, targeted remedial measures, and the active involvement of both teachers and parents in addressing learning gaps. The programme underscored the importance of systematic and objective evaluation to support student development.

A total of 144 participants, including heads of institutions and teachers from the Diglipur Educational Zone, benefitted from the training. The programme aimed to equip them with the tools and knowledge necessary to foster a more effective learning environment through the PAHAL Plus Portal.

The initiative is expected to bolster efforts to enhance student outcomes in the region, contributing to the broader educational objectives of the A & N Islands.
