A five-day Peripatetic Training programme focusing on Right to Information (RTI), office procedure, noting, drafting, and record management commenced on December 16, 2024, at the Gallery Hall of Tagore Government College of Education. The training is designed for Head Clerks, HGCs, and LGCs of the Amalgamated Clerical Cadre working in various departments under the A&N Administration.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Manjulata Rao, Principal of Tagore Government College of Education, who attended as the chief guest. The Administrative Reforms and Training Wing of the A&N Administration, in collaboration with the Institute of Secretariat Training & Management (ISTM), Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India, New Delhi, is organizing the programme.
Ms. Namita Malik, Joint Director, and Mr. Puneet Kumar Sharma, Deputy Director of ISTM, are leading the training sessions. The programme, which is set to run until December 20, 2024, is attended by 45 participants, who will receive hands-on training and insights into improving office procedures, documentation, and management skills.
The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Shailaja, Assistant Secretary (AR & Trg.), A&N Administration.
