Tribal Council Car Nicobar Donates 30 Beds to Strengthen Fight Against COVID-19

Tribal Council of Car Nicobar donated 30 beds to District Administration, to strengthen the fight against COVID-19. All 30 beds are traditional Nicobari handmade beds. 

Nicobar District Administration has expressed gratitude to the CTC and other leaders of the Tribal Council of Car Nicobar for the gesture through a tweet put out on their official twitter handle.

Nicobar Times spoke to the Spokesperson of Tribal Council, Car Nicobar who informed us that the beds have been contributed by all 15 villages of Car Nicobar. He further added that during this time of the pandemic it is extremely important for the society to support the Administration in the fight against COVID-19. 

He also informed that many organisations and individuals in Car Nicobar are extending support to the District Administration.

He further informed that the Tribal Council is ready to help the District Administration in any way they can, so that our Islands remain safe from the clutches of COVID-19 pandemic.

  1. The CTC has set an examplary remarks for the kind those how are indistress, specially in the time of pendemic. I wish to CTC to set more such exsmplary achievement leaving message to rest of the community to come forward to help the Administration with litte Little contribution and achieve Victory over covid-19.
