Tribal Development Cooperative Society Distributes Bonus Shares to Farmers

In a significant step toward economic empowerment and sustainability, the Tribal Development Cooperative Society Ltd. distributed bonus shares to tribal farmers across various villages. This initiative, spearheaded by Chairperson Ms. Aysha Majid, aims to acknowledge the contributions of tribal farmers and ensure they share in the cooperative’s success.

The distribution of bonus shares is designed to financially uplift tribal farmers, reinforcing their role in the cooperative’s prosperity. With the active participation of village captains and tribal councils, the process was conducted in a fair and transparent manner, ensuring equitable benefits for all eligible farmers.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Aysha Majid emphasized the importance of strengthening the tribal economy through cooperative efforts. “This initiative is a testament to our commitment to the financial well-being of our tribal farmers. By distributing bonus shares, we are not only sharing the cooperative’s success but also laying the foundation for sustainable development,” she stated.

Rayhaan Pasha, President of the Nicobar Youth Association, extended his support and highlighted the crucial role of the tribal community in the region’s economic development. He reiterated the association’s dedication to financial inclusion and improving the livelihoods of tribal farmers. Pasha also appreciated the Government of India and the Andaman & Nicobar Administration for their continued support of tribal social initiatives. Additionally, he commended Ms. Aysha Majid for her leadership and dedication in driving the cooperative’s vision forward.

Village captains and tribal councils played a pivotal role in facilitating the initiative, ensuring that benefits reached the rightful recipients efficiently and transparently. Their cooperation was instrumental in maintaining fairness throughout the distribution process.
