In a significant effort to combat Tuberculosis (TB) in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the TSG Charitable Foundation has distributed nutrition kits to 21 TB patients receiving treatment at UHC Delanipur, UHC Haddo, and UHC Dairy Farm.
This initiative aims to address the nutritional needs of TB patients, ensuring they adhere to their treatment regimens, improve their diets, and achieve faster recovery.
The distribution of the nutritional kits was overseen by Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman of the TSG Charitable Foundation, with the support of doctors and staff from the UHCs. Mr. Saji Varghese and Mr. Sebastian Tirkey, both social workers, also participated in the distribution program.
“TSG Charitable Foundation is constantly striving to advance welfare and development for patients suffering from TB,” said Mr. Bhasker. “Through our grassroots social work, we seek to create a lasting impact in the lives of poor and vulnerable people.”
The foundation’s ongoing efforts highlight its commitment to improving the health and well-being of TB patients in the region.
