The prolonged wait for a Cold Mortuary Box in Baratang finally saw its end with a generous donation from the TSG Charitable Foundation.
The necessity for a Cold Mortuary Box in Baratang was brought to the forefront by community leaders including Mr. Roy, Pradhan of Baratang, Mr. Alagar Swamy, Zilla Parishad Member, and Mr. Manoj, a dedicated Social Worker. Recognising the urgency of the situation, Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman of TSG Charitable Foundation, swiftly responded to the call.
Today, a significant milestone was achieved as a handing-over ceremony for the Cold Mortuary Box took place at the Nilambur Panchayat Hall. Mr. TSG Bhasker presided over the ceremony, alongside other leaders including Mr. Rangalal Halder, Mr. Y. Joga Rao, Mr. Saji Varghese, Mr. Sebastian Tirkey, all prominent Social Workers, PRI Members, and members of the general public.
The people of Nilambur Panchayat and Baratang Block rejoiced at the fulfilment of their long-standing demand. The Cold Mortuary Box holds immense significance as it will facilitate the transportation of deceased individuals over long distances and enable their storage for extended periods, thereby meeting the critical needs of the community.
