TSG Charitable Foundation, in association with Grace Academy, successfully organised the grand finale of its much-anticipated dance competition at Diglipur, celebrating youth talent, cultural expression and community participation across North and Middle Andaman.
The event was held under the supervision of Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman of the TSG Charitable Foundation, and Mrs. Rekha Bhasker. The competition saw wide participation from across the region, with preliminary auditions conducted earlier at Uttara, Rangat and Diglipur. These auditions attracted enthusiastic responses from aspiring dancers, culminating in the selection of finalists for the grand finale.
The finale witnessed an overwhelming turnout, with more than 1,000 people from Diglipur gathering to support and cheer the performers. A total of 36 finalists took to the stage, presenting a series of captivating performances that reflected a diverse range of dance forms, creativity and dedication.
At the conclusion of the programme, prizes were distributed to the winners and runner-ups, while all participating finalists were also felicitated in recognition of their effort and talent.
The event was further dignified by the presence of the Deputy Education Officer, Diglipur, and the Station House Officer (SHO), Diglipur.
The organisers said the grand finale marked a memorable cultural celebration and reaffirmed the TSG Charitable Foundation’s commitment to encouraging youth talent and creating platforms for artistic expression across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
