In a groundbreaking event aimed at recognising the often overlooked champions of healthcare, the TSG Charitable Foundation orchestrated a grand award ceremony at the opulent TSG Emerald View Hotel last Saturday. The gala was dedicated to honouring the unsung heroes of the medical fraternity whose tireless efforts have been pivotal in shaping the healthcare landscape.
The focal purpose of this remarkable event was to acknowledge and celebrate the exceptional contributions made by healthcare professionals in the A&N Islands, surpassing the conventional duties and leaving an indelible mark in the sector.
Distinguished luminaries in attendance included Dr. Tulasi Dasan, Retired Director of Health Services, A&N Islands, serving as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Omkar Singh, Former Director of Health Services, A&N Islands, as the esteemed Guest of Honour. Notable figures from various realms of the medical domain graced the occasion, adding significance to the ceremony.
A total of approximately 150 medical professionals were conferred with accolades, receiving mementos and certificates as tokens of appreciation for their unwavering dedication and remarkable service in the healthcare sector. Their commitment beyond the call of duty was recognised and celebrated in the event.
The evening was further adorned by enchanting performances by talented singers, captivating the audience with their melodious renditions.
Members of the TSG Family, including Mr. Dhinakaran, Mr. TSG Bhasker, Mrs. Rekha Bhasker, Mr. Karthick, Mr. Dakshin Bhasker, and Mr. Sachin, graced the occasion. They presented the awards to the medical professionals, encompassing doctors, nurses, support staff, technicians, drivers, police duty officers, and numerous others pivotal in the healthcare ecosystem.
Both the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour illuminated the gathering with their experiences, sharing insightful perspectives on the medical industry’s evolution in the Islands and its promising future.
