For over two decades, the TSG Charitable Foundation has been at the forefront of grassroots change, dedicated to uplifting communities in need. Continuing their mission, the foundation recently provided sustainable roofing sheets to the Chota Nagpuri Adivasis residing in Kesaridera, Kadamtala, near Gate no. 03, towards the construction of a Waiting Shed/Bus Stand.
Previously, the roof of the Waiting Shed/Bus Stand was makeshift, constructed with leaves, leaving it susceptible to leakages during rainy seasons. This posed a significant inconvenience, particularly for the small school-going children who relied on the shelter while waiting for buses.
Recognizing the pressing need for a durable roofing solution in the village, the Ranchi Association brought the matter to the attention of Mr. G. Bhasker, Chairman of the TSG Charitable Foundation. Deeply moved by the living conditions of the Chota Nagpuri Adivasis in the forests, Mr. G. Bhasker resolved to make a difference by donating approximately 28 roofing sheets.
In a heartfelt gesture of generosity, Mr. G. Bhasker personally handed over the roofing sheets to the villagers. The event was attended by Mr. Rangalal Halder, Social Worker; Mr. Y. Joga Rao, Councillor, Ward no. 14; Mr. Sebastian Tirkey, Secretary, Ranchi Association; and Mr. Saji Varghese, Social Worker.
The donation of these roofing sheets represents more than just material support; it signifies a commitment to improving the quality of life for the Chota Nagpuri Adivasis, providing them with a safe and reliable shelter for years to come.
