In line with ongoing efforts to enhance local infrastructure and provide better recreational facilities to the community, the much-awaited project for the development of a Mini Stadium at the Tushnabad School Playground has been initiated. This significant step follows the directions of the District Commissioner (DC), South Andaman, and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), South Andaman.
On February 1, 2024, the Director of Education visited the playground to assess the site and provide necessary directions to the authorities to commence the work without delay. Following this, the Tehsildar of South Andaman visited the site today, February 7, 2024, to review the progress of the ongoing work and ensure the project is moving forward as planned.
The Pradhan and PRI members expressed their sincere gratitude to the DC and SDM for their leadership in bringing this project to life. They appreciated the administration’s commitment and believe the mini stadium will greatly enhance recreational and sports opportunities for the local community, especially the students of Tushnabad School.
The Mini Stadium project is expected to provide a state-of-the-art sports facility for the students of Tushnabad School and the surrounding community. This initiative aligns with the government’s commitment to fostering sports development, promoting physical well-being, and providing youth with the necessary tools to excel in various sports disciplines.
