A team of PS Aberdeen recently nabbed two persons for possessing illicit ganja weighing 2.289 kg.
On 2nd December 2022, on receiving credible and specific information, consecutive raids were conducted by a team of PS Aberdeen, comprising of HC Sunil Singh Yadav, HC Preeti, PCs S. N. Phathak, Sandeep Lakra, Sonu Yadav, Ashish Singh, D. Shiv Kumar and Shem Peter led by Inpr. K. Joju, SHO PS Aberdeen. The team arrested two persons, residents of Dollygunj and Guptapara and recovered illicit ganja weighing 2289 grams from their possession. Both the accused persons have been arrested after observing all formalities and booked under appropriate sections of law under NDPS Act.
The entire raid took place under the supervision of Mr. Sunny Gupta, IPS, Sub Divisional Police Officer, South Andaman and the overall supervision of Mr. Kalaivanan.R, IPS, Superintendent of Police, South Andaman District.
The general public has been requested to share information about drug menace or any crime or other illegal activities to Police at 112, 03192-232100, 03192-233077 & 03192-232400. Police informed that the identity of the informant will be kept secret.
