The District Administration of South Andaman has stepped up its anti-encroachment efforts with a series of eviction drives aimed at reclaiming government land from unauthorized occupation. The initiative seeks to remove illegal structures and restore public spaces to prevent encroachments by unscrupulous elements.
As part of this drive, a newly constructed parking shed along the roadside at Sisty Nagar in Aberdeen Village was dismantled by the revenue field staff of Sri Vijaya Puram Tehsil. The operation resulted in the successful restoration of 50 square meters of revenue land back to government khata.
