Unidentified Male Dead Body Found Floating Near Science Centre Sea Shore on 17th March, Police Seeks Information for Identification

A chilling discovery was made on the 17th of March, 2024, as authorities were alerted to the presence of a male dead body floating near the Science Center Sea Shore. Swiftly responding to the distress call, a police party promptly arrived at the scene and recovered the deceased, whose physical description provided initial clues for identification.

The recovered body, described as approximately 5 feet 3 inches in height, with a sallow complexion and a well-built physique, was clad in dark navy blue jeans shorts and a black with grey colour strip inner-wear. Following standard procedure, an Unnatural Death First Information Report (UD FIR) was filed under No. 16/2024 dated 17/03/2024 U/s 174 Cr.P.C at the Police Station Aberdeen.

Despite exhaustive efforts to ascertain the identity of the deceased, including issuing alerts and gathering information from local residents and informants, authorities have yet to make a breakthrough. Postmortem procedures conducted by the attending physician suggested the possibility of the body to be of a Mongolian tribe member.

With no relatives stepping forward to claim the body for final rites, the deceased remains housed in the cold mortuary of G.B. Pant Hospital, awaiting identification. 

Authorities have appealed to the general public for any information that could shed light on the identification of the deceased. Individuals with relevant details are urged to contact the police via telephone numbers 100, 232400, and 232405, to aid in bringing closure.
