Union MSME Minister Reviews MSME Initiatives in Andaman & Nicobar Islands

The Hon’ble Union Minister of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, Mr. Jitan Ram Manjhi, along with the Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, on 11th January 2026, reviewed the progress, outreach and impact of MSME initiatives in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

The review meeting was held at Lok Niwas Annex, Corbyn’s Cove, on 11th January 2026. Officials from various Departments, including Industries, Agriculture, Tourism, Shipping and the Port Management Board (PMB), attended the meeting. Representatives from the MSME-Development and Facilitation Office (MSME-DFO), the Coir Board and the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) were also present.

During the meeting, the Hon’ble Union Minister also reviewed the implementation of the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), the PM Vishwakarma Scheme and other MSME-related initiatives in the Union Territory.
