UT-Level Workshop on PARAKH Rastriya Sarvekshan 2024 and Implementation of Holistic Progress Card Held at Shiksha Sadan

A one-day UT-level workshop on “PARAKH Rastriya Sarvekshan 2024 and Implementation of Holistic Progress Card” was successfully conducted on Monday at the Conference Hall of Shiksha Sadan. The event, organized under PARAKH, NCERT, brought together key stakeholders from across the territory to discuss strategies for enhancing student learning outcomes and implementing holistic assessment practices.

The workshop was inaugurated by Director (Education) Vikram Singh, who served as the chief guest. In his address, he underlined the importance of disseminating PARAKH results at all educational levels and called for comprehensive measures to support the all-round development of students. He also urged schools to strengthen academic activities for improved results.

Adding to the proceedings, Prof. Indrani Bhaduri, Head of the Educational Survey Division, NCERT, addressed the opening session virtually from New Delhi. She congratulated the UT Administration on its achievements in Grade 3 (Foundational Stage) performance in PRS 2024 and lauded the collective efforts of educators and administrators.

Ms. Sangeeta Chand, Principal, SIE, also shared valuable insights with participants. The workshop featured sessions on state and district report cards, contextual factors from PRS 2024, and strategies for implementing holistic progress assessments. A dedicated brainstorming session on strengthening monitoring mechanisms was also held.

The event concluded with a valedictory function in the evening, where certificates were awarded to participants in recognition of their active engagement and commitment to educational excellence. (Story Based on PR)
