All the Traders, Autorickshaw owners/drivers and other concerned Govt./Semi Government Establishments of North & Middle Andaman have been informed that the Legal Metrology Officer alongwith a team of the Directorate of Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs shall camp at North & Middle Andaman to carry out the verification and stamping of e-Weighing & Measuring Instruments used in the said area.
The team will camp at Baratang on 24th April, at Kadamtala on 25th April , at Rangat from 26th 28th April, at Billiground on 29th April, at Mayabunder on 30th April and at Diglipur from 1st to 5th May. All concerned have been advised to produce their weighing & measuring instruments before the Legal Metrology Officer during the mentioned date to get it verified/calibrated & stamped as required under the Legal Metrology Act, 2009.
