The Directorate of Shipping Services has informed passengers that the vessel Sindhu is currently facing a technical issue, making it unable to operate its scheduled service from Sri Vijaya Puram to Campbell Bay via Nancowry on September 30, as well as its return journey on October 2.
To ensure continued connectivity, the vessel Nalanda will operate in place of Sindhu. The revised schedule for Nalanda is as follows:
- Departure: October 2 at 0900 hrs from Haddo Wharf for Campbell Bay via Nancowry.
- Return: October 4 at 0800 hrs from Campbell Bay via Nancowry to Sri Vijaya Puram
Passengers holding tickets for Sindhu have been advised that their tickets will be valid for travel on Nalanda as per the revised dates and timings. Those unable to travel on the rescheduled dates may cancel their tickets and are entitled to a full refund.
