The DepartmentRelated Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs is currently on a visit to Andaman and Nicobar Islands. A delegation of the functionaries of Vishva Hindu Parishad, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, on Friday met Mr. Rakesh Sinha, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Member of the Department Related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs.
The delegation reportedly put forth various issues of the Hindu Community before the Member of the Department Related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs.
A memorandum was also presented by the local functionaries of VHP.
The Department Related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs also interacted with the local representatives on Developmental Issues at the Conference Hall of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman on 14th April 2023.
The committee is scheduled to hold discussions with Officials of MHA, the Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and other Senior Officials of the Andaman and Nicobar Administration today (15th April 2023) at Swaraj Dweep.
