Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member, BJP and Former State President, BJP, Andaman and Nicobar Islands has written a letter to the Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands seeking adequate compensation for the family of the deceased fishermen of Shoal Bay, who died due to a Crocodile Attack.
Mr. Jolly in his letter mentioned that Mr. A Mani lost his life due to Crocodile Attack on 28th April while fishing near the shore at Shoal Bay No. 8. Mr. Jolly mentioned that these sort of incidents are becoming the usual state of affairs nowadays and therefore serious steps are required to save lives.
Mr. Jolly also informed the LG that Mr. Mani left behind two sons and his wife. His wife tried committing suicide after hearing the news of his death and is admitted to the ICU of G.B Pant Hospital. He also mentioned that one of his sons has just completed his 12th Grade and the other son is in 12th Grade.
Mr. Jolly also mentioned that Mr. Mani was the sole bread earner of the family. Mr. Jolly sought adequate compensation for the family and a job of any nature for the elder son.
He requested that the compensation and job be given at the earliest to support the family.
