Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member, BJP and Former State President, BJP, A & N Islands today met Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, Secretary, RD, PRIs & ULBs and elaborately raised the issue of difficulties being faced by the restored Panchayat Samitis.
He pointed out that after the restoration of the middle tyre of Panchayati Raj Institution, the offices together with other infrastructures, funds and logistics for Panchayat Samitis have not yet been handed over to the newly constituted Samitis due to which the developmental projects coming within the purview of Panchayat Samitis have not yet commenced. He further highlighted a few other connected issues.
Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, Secretary-RD, PRIs & ULBs gave a patient hearing and assured that all efforts would be taken to ensure that all required arrangements are made at the earliest and that the Panchayat Samitis starts functioning in its complete shape soon.
