The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr. L. Kumar, IAS, has informed the public that the Enumeration Phase under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls is currently in progress across the Islands.

During this phase, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are conducting household visits to distribute pre-filled Enumeration Forms (in duplicate) and to assist electors in completing them. All eligible voters have been urged to cooperate with the BLOs and ensure the accuracy of their details.

Electors who have not yet received the Enumeration Form are advised to contact their respective BLOs for assistance, clarification, or guidance, including support with online submission. To further aid the public, a dedicated Voter Helpline — 1950 — has been activated.

According to the CEO, electors may call 1950 (toll-free) for:

  • Assistance in filling the form
  • Guidance on mapping oneself or parents/grandparents with the previous SIR conducted in 2002
  • Locating their BLO or Polling Station
  • Contact details of their BLO
  • Queries related to online submission

The CEO has appealed to all eligible electors to make full use of the support available and reaffirmed the goal: “No eligible voter to be left out, and no ineligible person to be included in the Electoral Roll.”
