Admiral D K Joshi (Retd.), PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM, Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Vice Chairman of the Islands Development Agency, was accorded a warm welcome upon his arrival at Diu Airport on 18th May 2025, to attend the Khelo India Beach Games 2025.
Mr. Praful Kodabhai Patel, Hon’ble Administrator of the Union Territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu and Lakshadweep, received the Lt. Governor at the airport. A ceremonial Guard of Honour was presented to Admiral Joshi in the presence of senior officials of the UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
The visit underscores the collaborative spirit between India’s States and UTs in promoting sports and youth engagement through national initiatives like the Khelo India Beach Games.
