Weather Disruptions May Impact Shipping Services: Passengers Advised to Plan Ahead

The Directorate of Shipping Services has issued an advisory to commuters, tourists, and the general public regarding potential disruptions to Inter-Island and Foreshore Sector vessel operations due to prevailing adverse weather conditions.

Officials have stated that vessel services may be suspended or canceled at very short notice to ensure the safety of passengers and crew. Similarly, harbour and vehicle ferry services connecting key locations such as Chatham, Bambooflat, Dundas Point, Hopetown, Phoenix Bay, and various outstations could also face interruptions depending on weather developments.
