The Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services (AH&VS) organized an informative program at Government Secondary School (GSS), Govindpur, to mark World Egg Day and educate students on the nutritional benefits of eggs.
The initiative aimed to highlight the role of eggs in supporting healthy growth when consumed as part of a balanced daily diet. Over 50 students participated in the program, which was attended by the school Principal, Ms. S. Beena, along with six teachers.
Interactive sessions focused on the high-protein content of eggs and their significance in child development, encouraging students to adopt healthy dietary habits. The enthusiastic participation of both students and faculty reflected the community’s commitment to promoting nutritional awareness among young learners.
