The Pradesh Youth Congress, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, organized a highly successful Blood Donation Camp at Gandhi Bhawan, Port Blair, on Tuesday, paying tribute to the former Prime Minister of India, Mrs. Indira Gandhi, on the occasion of her death anniversary.
Led by Ms. Diksha Dular, State President of the Pradesh Youth Congress, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Mr. Abhibhushan Ghosh, State Vice-President, the event witnessed a significant turnout of donors and volunteers eager to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
The primary goal of the camp was to address the constant demand for blood in medical emergencies, surgeries, and other critical situations while raising awareness about the importance of regular blood donation.
Many individuals joined the camp with a strong sense of purpose and a desire to contribute to the well-being of their fellow citizens. The event was characterised by a well-organized system, with trained medical professionals collecting blood donations while ensuring the safety and comfort of the donors. Strict health and safety measures were followed, creating a secure environment for all participants.
Leaders of the Pradesh Youth Congress expressed their gratitude to all the volunteers and donors for their noble efforts and assured that similar initiatives would be carried out to save lives and promote unity and solidarity among the people of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The event was attended by several senior leaders of the Congress Party and Frontal Organisations, who came together to support this humanitarian cause.
