₹5987.14 Crores has been allocated to Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the Financial Year 2023-24 in the Union Budget 2023-24. Out of ₹5987.14 Crores, ₹2646.50 has been allocated for ‘Establishment Expenditure of the Centre’ and ₹ 3340.64 Crores has been allocated for ‘Other Central Sector Expenditure’.
The budget allocation for Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Financial Year 2022-23 stood at ₹5703.65 Crores.
The budget allocation for Andaman and Nicobar Islands in FY 2023-24 is ₹283.49 Crores more than the budget allocated for Andaman and Nicobar Islands in FY 2022-23.
The revised budget estimate for 2022-23 stood at ₹ 5508.05 Crores (Revised Estimates are mid-year review of possible expenditure, taking into account the trend of expenditure, New Services and New Instrument of Services etc. Revised Estimates are not voted on by the Parliament, and hence by themselves do not provide any authority for expenditure).
