The High Court Legal Services Committee (HCLSC), Circuit Bench of Calcutta High Court, Port Blair, will organize the 3rd National Lok Adalat of 2025 on 13th September at 11:30 am within the Circuit Bench premises. The Lok Adalat aims to facilitate the settlement of pending cases in the Calcutta High Court, as well as pre-litigation matters, through the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanism.
Parties and their advocates who wish to have their cases resolved in the Lok Adalat are required to submit joint applications by 5 pm on 1st September, 2025 at the Office of the HCLSC, Circuit Bench, Port Blair. Applications can also be sent via email to hcourt.and@nic.in within the deadline.
The Committee clarified that applications received after the due date will be considered only for the subsequent Lok Adalat, keeping in view the time required for requisitioning case records, finalizing benches, and preparing cause-lists.
It has also been informed that no reconstruction of case files will be entertained. The cause-list for the Lok Adalat will be prepared strictly on the basis of the availability of case records before the respective benches.
