In a significant step towards enhancing disaster response capabilities, Police Station Diglipur hosted a comprehensive 3-day training program on Disaster Management and Preparedness from July 23 to July 25, 2024. This crucial initiative focused on Collapsed Structure Search and Rescue (CSSR) and Medical First Response (MFR).
Led by experienced staff from the Disaster Management Cell in Port Blair, the training aimed to equip personnel with valuable insights and practical skills essential for effective disaster management. The sessions covered a wide range of topics, including emergency response strategies, safety protocols, and medical first aid techniques.
The program’s objective was to ensure that staff members are well-prepared to serve and protect the community during emergencies. The successful completion of this training underscores the commitment to improving disaster preparedness and response efforts in the region.
