Andaman and Nicobar Police has been ensuring strict control on the movement of public in all parts of the Islands post 1 Pm. Police is ensuring that the restriction orders issued by the District Magistrates of all three districts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands is being adhered by the general public.

As a result there is very less movement on the road post 1 Pm in all three districts of the Islands. The reduction in movement of individuals will help reduce the cases of COVID-19 in the Islands.

Such restrictions will also help in breaking the chain of transmission of COVID-19 in the Islands and will keep the Islanders safe.

The health care workers and front line workers of our Islands are working day and night to ensure that the Islands become COVID-19 free once again and the lives of the Islanders are safe and secure.

Nicobar Times urges everyone to follow all COVID-19 protocols and only go out of their homes when its absolutely necessary.
