The Block Project Office, Diglipur, under Inclusive Education, Samagra Shiksha, organized an awareness programme on World Dyslexia Day at Government Primary School, Talbagan recently. The event aimed to spread awareness and understanding about dyslexia — a specific learning disorder that affects reading, writing, and spelling skills — with the theme “Understanding Dyslexia: Early Support for Lifelong Success.”
A total of 51 participants, including parents, teachers, students, School Management Committee/School Management and Development Committee (SMC/SMDC) members, and Anganwadi workers, attended the programme with enthusiasm.
The event underscored the Education Department’s commitment to promoting inclusive education and ensuring that every child, regardless of learning differences, receives appropriate support for lifelong learning and success.
