The Directorate of Information, Publicity & Tourism (IP&T), Andaman and Nicobar Administration, has prepared draft Guidelines for Operations of Night Sea Kayaking (Basic) in the Islands and placed them in the public domain for feedback.
According to an official communication, the proposed guidelines aim to regulate Night Sea Kayaking (Basic) activities in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands to ensure safe and standardized operations.
The draft guidelines have been uploaded on the official website of the Directorate of IP&T at https://tourism.andamannicobar.gov.in. The Administration has invited suggestions, comments and inputs from the general public, tourism stakeholders and various departments.
All comments and suggestions must be submitted to the Directorate of IP&T within 15 days, on or before March 12, 2026.
The Directorate has further informed that if no comments are received from the public, stakeholders or concerned departments by the stipulated date, it will be presumed that they have no comments to offer on the draft guidelines.
Inputs found relevant and constructive will be suitably incorporated into the final version of the guidelines. The feedback, suggestions, comments may be submitted in the prescribed format given below: –
