The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee, spearheaded by its President Mr. Rangalal Halder and Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker, initiated a one-day Karyakarta Sammelan program in Baratang. The event aimed to galvanise party members in strategising effective campaigning methods and ensuring outreach to every household in the region. Attended by a multitude of active party workers, the Sammelan served as a platform for organisational mobilisation and electoral preparation.
During the gathering, Congress leaders exhorted party workers to mobilize disenchanted citizens, urging them to exercise their voting rights in favour of the Congress Party on election day. Emphasising the dissatisfaction prevailing under BJP rule, the leaders stressed the significance of voter turnout in support of the Congress Party’s agenda.
Among the prominent figures present at the Sammelan were Mr. A.R Manickam, Senior Congress Leader; Mr. Saji Varghese, Senior Congress Leader; Ms. Diksha Dular, President of the Youth Congress; Mr. M.A Sajid, President of the NSUI; Mr. Mohd. Zubair, President of City Congress; Mr. Sebastian Tirkey, Chairman of Adivasi Congress; Mr. Abhibhushan Ghosh, Vice President of the Youth Congress; Mr. Amir Bux, Congress Leader; Mr. Vishal Din, Vice President of NSUI, along with all PRI Members.
The Karyakarta Sammelan served as a rallying point for the Congress Party, instilling a sense of purpose and unity among its members as they gear up for the upcoming electoral challenges in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
