The Andaman & Nicobar Islands Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, in association with the Tushnabad Gram Panchayat, will organise an Awareness-cum-Registration Camp for construction workers at the Tushnabad Gram Panchayat premises on December 20, beginning at 10 am.
The camp aims to create awareness among construction workers about the various social security and welfare schemes implemented by the Welfare Board and to facilitate on-the-spot registration of eligible workers. Officials will brief participants on the benefits available under these schemes and guide them through the registration process, enabling workers to avail themselves of the welfare measures provided by the Board.
Construction workers from Tushnabad and nearby areas have been encouraged to attend the camp and make use of the opportunity to understand and access the social security benefits meant for their welfare.
