In connection with the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections of 2024, Mr. Raghunath Kulkarni, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Co-Incharge for Andaman and Nicobar Islands, arrived in Port Blair on March 31, 2024, to oversee preparations and strategise campaign efforts.
Upon his arrival, Mr. Kulkarni wasted no time and immediately convened a series of crucial meetings aimed at fine-tuning the BJP’s election strategy. The day commenced with a gathering of the Core Committee and Election Management Committee at the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Bhavan, the State Headquarters of BJP in Port Blair.
Following this meeting, Mr. Kulkarni engaged with the heads of different wings within the party, including Morcha Heads and Cell Heads.
Key party leaders such as Mr. L Moorthy, National Council Member, State Convenor of Election Management Committee and Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, the State Vice President and In-Charge of the Election Management Committee were present in the meetings with Mr. Raghunath Kulkarni. Additionally, Mr. M. Vinod, the State Vice President and Co-Incharge of the Election Management Committee, Mr. Prakash Adhikari, State Vice President and Co-Convenor of Election Management Committee along with other state functionaries, actively participated in charting out the electoral roadmap in meeting with Raghunath Kulkarni.
A pivotal part of Mr. Kulkarni’s itinerary included a meeting with the Mandal Committee in Haddo Mandal, where he interacted with grassroots-level party workers.
